It was our first official day of the 2016 year, Scooter got on his wading boots and got Merc all packed up for a fun
filled day on Glacier Lake. He called it his "Practice Day" to see if he still had all the right moves and yep he did. "Bite
Me" was really reeking this year after setting all winter... We always wish one another luck and tell each other "don't
catch all the fish", yeah right, I may as well have told the tree next to me. He was reeling them in one after another but
nothing of any significant size until his buddy Puddy latched on and gave him a nice fight but guess who won, Yea Scooter!!!!
We fished for a while, I caught a few little blue gill but nothing to write home about, I was more worried about being taken
out by the falling tree branches above us.. hours passed and I was getting bored so we made a pact to hit a big lake the next
day so we packed up and headed home, whew, I was tired of all that watching.....
