Being we had so much fun on the 31st, we decided to head back out to Newpoert Lake again. It was quite humid but anyday
out with my huney is a fun-filling day. Once again Scooter was reeling the fish in. The line would no sooner touch the
water and he was reeling them in. He must have hit a school of blue gill this time, the smallest one was 6". I just sat and
watched in amazement at all the fish he was bringing in. As he fished I listened to the radio, sang to the fish and watched
the red tale hawk as it flew majestically above. I did catch a few but nothing like my huney. I asked him not to catch
the whole lake this time but does he ever listen, NOOOOO. He did catch a nice large mouth bass measuring 11" and a massive
carp but it broke his line just as he was getting it to the shore, I tried to help out with the net but as I got there we
heard SNAAAP and off it went, oh well, no pics this time...For the last 45 min. of fishing I spent most of my time skimming
the lake for what I call lake lace, the green seaweed looking crap that floats on the top and gets tangled in the line. Should
I send Mill Creek park a bill for cleaning their waters??? Just kidding... but anyway, it was getting hot and humid so we
decided to call it a day...Another great day of togetherness and great quality time...
