Today was a beautiful day to be out on the lake, it wasn't too hot and nature was in it's fullest. Scooter and I got out to our spot around 10:30 and within the first half hour I reeled in my first cat of the day she was a nice 7" but I didn't keep her her belly was really fat so I gave her the bait also after releasing her back. Scooter brought in a nice 8" large mouth bass and what a nice little fight he was, I tried to get a picture opt but my camera didn't seem to go off.  By noon we already had 6 between cats and bass. After that things slowed down and I had some very cute fuzzy friends come over to greet us. We were also greeted by a 2 1/2' red tail hawk, he was quite beautiful he was within an arm distance from me but must have been after some food as he swooped off. Around 4 the fish were moving in again, small mouth and blue gill loved the homemade fish attractant. I just missed a Fish Ohio record keeper for my Sunfish by 1/2", now that was a good battle to say the least. 6 pm was rolling near so we decided to pack it up and head home for a little cookout. It was a great ending to a very peaceful and serene day.
