Today was another fine day at the lake. We packed up our pooches and a cooler and headed out to Guilford Lake. It was
a bit humid but we had a great time. Within the first few hours between Scooter and I we brought in a good 2 dozen blue
gill of various sizes. Sassy, our puggle pup had a great time also playing with the fish in the grass. One got the best
of her so she just stuck out her tongue and turned the other way, it was quite comical. Butch didn't care to mess with the
fish he was seeking serenity in the shade thankful that mom and dad didn't leave him behind again..The pups always know if
we are headed out to fish and lay by the fence with their backs to us just glaring over their shoulders angry they didn't
get to go but today was their lucky day and we had a great time until the storms started moving in. We could hear the rumbling
of the thunder and figured we had better call it a day, we had already caught over 36 blue gill, more than what we usually
catch in a 6 hour fishing day. It was great to spend good quality time together as a family and will have yet another memory
to cherish.......
