Today was a beautiful day to be out at the park and fishing at Lake Glacier. Scooter and I was pleasantly introduced
to a very outgoing young lady and her father. She introduced herself as Kylee and her dad as Robert. They came to check out
the fishing for the day but Scooter and I had just got to the lake about a half hour previous to their visit. Kylee told us
she liked to fish and has gotten pretty good with reelin in the fish and what would you know, she proved her words and brought
us down a nice 7" crappie to see about an hour after getting to the lake. Scooter was having a great time reeling in
his own buddies and by amazement he was able to latch onto one of the turtles that everyone has told us about but we had never
seen. We brought him home for our aquarium and named him Pierre. We don't know his breed but we sure was glad he wasn't a
snapper. We fished for about 5 hours before calling it a day. I, on the otherhand ended up getting outfished by a nine year
old but I was happy to see Kylee catch her fish. By the way Kylee, your buddy didn't make it, he must have been out of water
too long, thanks for sharing in some great memories and I wish you much luck!!!!!
