Today was another great day out on the lake we had lots of action from our city friends. Seems like they were craving
a high fiber diet, they really enjoyed the snake sized night crawlers we were feeding them along with the sweet corn. Scooter's
first catch landed him a 11" small mouth bass he named Bart. Bart didn't want to be hooked and wiggled himself off right at
the shoreline but Scooter went in after him. I didn't have such luck at first, I went to fill the bucket with water for our
buddy and ended up in the lake and had to have Scooter pull me out. About an hour passed by and I finally got my first catch.
I was able to bring in a 10" channel cat I named Chandler. I didn't feel he was more than a mouthful so I decided to be a
humanitarian and send him back out to sea. Scooter's magnetic touch brought him in another 9" small mouth bass he named Bobby.
We were constantly getting stripped of our bait but nobody else wanted to come for a visit on shore. 5pm rolled around and
I once again made a mess of my line so we decided to call it a day and come home.
