Another relaxing day at the lake!!! The sun was shining bright and the temperatures were perfect for fishing. Scooter
and I got to Lake Glacier around 11:00 am and was able to get one of our favorite spots. The fish were in rare form today.
Within the first hour Scooter latched into a nice 8" rainbow trout we named Tritt and several sunfish. We were getting hits
like crazy, the fish seemed to be enjoying our compost snakes (worms) and whole kernal corn. We fished at one spot until about
2:30 when the garbage started floating upstream then we moved to our other favorite spot under the big oak down the way. I
was getting quite tired of feeding the fish so I tried a Mr. Wiggley, those darn city fish sure do know the difference
between plastic and real even with bait mate on it. Scooter got lucky and latched onto a 13" large mouth bass we named Baxter,
he gave Scooter quite a fight but Scooter prevailed... I was able to catch Baxter's baby bro, a 2" bass if that and a 4" blue
gill.. I told Scooter about catching all the big guys but he doesn't listen all he wants to do is catch those mouthy bass!!!!!
It was once again a great day out on the lake rockin with the fish and my huney...
