Today Scooter and I decided to be spontaneous after finishing our yard work and head down to our favorite fishing spot
at Lake Glacier. It was a great day for fishing, the winds weren't too bad and the fish seemed to be hitting almost every
time we threw out. We must have hit a school of blue gill for the first few hours that's all we were able to pull out. They
were a palm size pleasure to play with but nothing worth keeping. Scooter was able to latch into a small mouth bass that measured
11". We named him Barney and he sure did give up a nice fight. I too had some fun after I traded up my medium action rod for
a light weight rod, it actually made those little guys feel bigger than what they really were. Each and every day Scooter
and I get to spend together is a great day and each and every day we are able to experience nature in it's finest makes life
much more rewarding.
