Today started out on the wrong side of the bed, as my alarm blared in my ear to tell me it was time to get up I felt
a wierd knot on my head, low and behold last week's fishing trip brought a tick home within my pillow and it ended up attaching
itself on my head, thank God I was able to get it off before it embedded itself in my skin... We both needed some QT so after
I picked my son up from work we packed the truck and headed back down to our favorite spot, Glacier Lake.. The sun was hot
but we were able to kick back in a nice shady area. The fish were biting and stealing our bait but would find a way not to
get caught. As we looked out into the water we could see them lined up just waiting for the next worm to come and what would
you know, they were all 4" or less. I finally was able to latch onto one right through the eyeball, serves him right for being
such a little stinker!!! Scooter was basically feeding the fish for the first few hours. He finally got lucky and latched
onto a nice 8" small mouth bass, we took a picture but today was a catch and release day for us. I caught mostly blue gill
but Scooter got a nice variety of fish from Small Mouth Bass to Blue Gill to a nice 6" crappie. We finally ran out of bait
and packed up and headed home for a nice shrimp scampi dinner and some cool air conditioning....
