Once again we decided to take one of our spontaneous trips so while Scooter was doing some serious sweatin I went
worm hunting under the dog houses and what I bunch I found. Who said girls don't play with worms, I do all shapes and sizes
to boot. It was a wonderful day the sun was high in the sky and I couldn't wait to get out to the lake again, I'm always ready
to hit the waters. I need a sign saying "Heck On the Laundry, Today I'm Fishin'" My first catch was a small Blue Gill I named
Gilly, he wasn't much more than 3" so I choose to be a humanitarian and let my people go....Scooter on the other half latched
onto a nice 6" Yellow Perch we called "Perky" because he was a true gamer to catch. Being the sun was starting to get as hot
as it was we picked up our gear and moved to yet another unfished territory by the bridge. There was a strong under current
but the fish was biting like crazy. I had a few that I got 2 ft from me but was able to get off by the rocks. who taught these
darn fish to stop, drop and roll?? Scooter got lucky he just happened to catch a bunch of baby smally's smimming by. None
was about anything in size so we had a heart and let all the fish go that day, even Perky.. It began clouding up as if it
were going to rain so we packed up for the day and headed back home and back to reality!!!!!
