We were getting cabin fever so we took some good quality down time to head out to the lake... We first tried our favorite spot out at Berlin but the gates were closed so we headed down to the boat docks, the water was unusually low for this time of year and there was no shade so we didn't stay long there and headed up to Lake Milton.. We found a nice spot over by the dam, the fish were jumping but we really didn't have much luck there either. We fished there for about three hours before packing it up and heading back towards Mill Creek Park... There was lots of moss and overgrowth but we did find one spot down by the boat house...The weather was pretty much getting to me by that time so I just kicked back with some tunes on the radio while Scooter tried his luck... He was able to latch onto a small 6" small mouth bass and a 5" crappie... He was getting lots of hits but no takers except for those few... I was getting a hungry headache so we ended our day about 3:30 and came home and made some pizza and Honey wings... I passed out about 7:00, the humidity was about all I could take... Another ending to another nice day... Quality time is awesome when you are with the one you love and enjoy doing the same things with....
