We decided to change it up a bit and headed out to Berlin. We drove around a bit and tried down by the picnic grounds but really couldn't find a good spot so we started heading back up Bidell road when we found an open entrance just about 500 ft from the park. Hmmm, lots of new spots here to fish!!! We unloaded Merc and found a great little spot but boy was that sun hot!!!! Lamarr was doing great there but I was too hot to fish, I had to find some shade under the trees. We were visited by the local park ranger who checked our licenses for the current year, we were legit but I guess that's their job... We fished for about 6 hours that day and brought home a nice stringer of blue gill which we gave to our neighbor. Just another nice day of good quality time together, it's really nice to have someone who enjoys the same things, it makes life even more special.
