We decided to try our hand at another lake and since Lake Berlin seemed to bring us alot of luck last year we headed
out to our favorite spot. The waters were high yet due to the excessive rain and the dams being closed but we chose another
spot on a rocky hillside. We had some nibbles but nothing too serious. Scooter thought he would make this a true adventure
after I had lost one of my favorite bobbers on the rocks below. Being he had his hip waders on he went in search of my long
lost bobber only to find himself swimming in the cold waters. I tried to tell him it wasn't swimming season yet but
men just don't listen. sometimes.....In spite of our desperate attempt to catch the big one, we had to head home so
Scooter wouldn't get hypothermia. After showering and getting new clothes we decided to try our hand back down at Glacier
Lake. The lake was packed with folks fishing along the banks but we were able to find what we thought was a nice quiet spot.
Noootttt, the folks up above was roudy and one guy lost his pole in the lake from a fish. We weren't catching much but tree
limbs and my hair when I tried to cast out. We fished for about 3 more hours but caught nothing. It was starting to get chilly
from the storms moving in and I couldn't wait to get home to our slow cooker filled with ham and beans surrounded by my favorite
spice, Garlic!!!!!!!!
