Yet another great day to be out fishing, the pups were all excited they got to go this time. Sassy was just like
a mini turbo energizer bunny running around in circles going crazy with excitement. Butch also couldn't wait to break camp.
We loaded up the truck and headed back towards West Branch for yet another relaxing day but this time we had lots of company.
The waters were calm when we first got there then around 11:30 some folks decided to bring their boat up on shore and
ruin our peace. Butch and Sassy were pretty good though as far as the barking, they both were really relaxed and stretched
out on the grass for a mid-morning nap. As the hours passed the temperature got hotter so the three of us decided to take
a nice cool dip to cool down. Sassy didn't like the water too well but Butch had to take a second dip to cool down his paws.
After the boat left the jet skis moved in and the first group of folks were quite ignorant. They saw we were fishing and decided
to go play in the lake while some of them took their sea doos out. I think they finally took the hint when their ball come
floating down to where we were fishing and I gave it a pitch pack up on shore and as they moved closer swimming we would throw
our line more their way. This went on for a few hours before they gave up. They no sooner left and another group came over.
There was a big beach line but they all had to encroach on our area so the fishing got pretty lame while they played in the
non-swimming area, how rude!!!
Finally they left also and we had the whole beach area back to ourselves, ahhh back to the peace and tranquility. We
stayed for a few more hours before the sun got too hot and the the wake was interferring with our enjoyment so we left for
the day. We did have a nice day regardless of the boat and jet skis, the pups got a chance to experience a new area and we
all went home just totally exhausted.
