Homemade Brandy

On a cold winter night there is nothing better than kicking back with a glass of home made brandy. It warms the body and lets you rest peacefully.

Ingredients
 
1- 10 gal brandy crock
10 lbs. white sugar
2 cakes yeast (must be cakes from dairy)
4 lemons cut up
4 qts of any fruit
5 gallons water
4 boxes white raisins (must be white)

Combine
Sugar, water, yeast cakes, lemons, and fruit cut up
cover with cloth and lid
After 7 days in crock add white raisins, stir
let all ingredients sit for 21 days
siphon into gallon jugs using cheese cloth or coffee filters to catch particles from fruit
after brandy clears, usually about a week
siphon into smaller bottles and cap
 
The longer the brandy sets, the stronger it gets
be careful removing the lid sometimes it sprays due to furmentation.

 strawberry-kiwi-banana

some other flavors to try:
Black Cherry
Blueberry
Raspberry
Tropical Fruits
Apple - Cinnamon( different processing though)
