Every
day when I turn on the news I hear stories of how young children and teens have committed suicide because they have been made
to feel worthless, less than a person and intimidated by people who feel they are better than others.
Let me tell you this kids, nobody is better than anyone else!!!
We all have something about us that makes us special in some way and we need to look within
to find who we are and what we are about. Once you do that you will truly understand the meaning of your life.
I walked in your shoes for many years, I have been called many hurtful names, threatened,
my personal property destroyed and I almost let it destroy me but I come to the realization that those who bully are unhappy
in their lives and to relieve their pain they instill it onto others. They may have troubles at home, people have alienated
them because they were different in some way that others did not understand or they have once been bullied themselves and
have been programmed to take out their pain on others.
I even experienced bullying in college and within my personal life. I hope my story helps
you to realize that you may not be the most beautiful person physically but there is a part of you that is true beauty and
others want that but cannot figure out how to get it so they remain miserable.
Over the years I have learned to take those harsh words and ill feelings and put them
to words. Instead of letting others hurt me to where I wanted to take my own life I put my feelings down on paper and now
I have almost 100 poems and verses. A good friend once told me to write from the heart and sign with your soul and those words
never left me. I use my words to express my feelings instead of self hurt. I would like to share some of my writings with
you, I hope they help within not only your journey's in life but with your thoughts of self pride. It's Just A Matter Of Time......
