Hello,
my name is Kathleen Phillips, AKA "Kat" . Over the years I have gained many achievements. My first achievements came my senior
year in high school where I was awarded my National Forensic League of Speaking pin and certificate for the many years I spent
on Girard High School's Speech Team. That year I also was awarded second place in a Voice of Democracy Writing contest sponsored
by the Veterans of Foriegn Wars. As the years went by I continued to write about the things that inspired me and in 1988 I
was awarded my first Editors Choice award for a poem entitled "War and Rememberance". I've always enjoyed writing and still
work hard. Since then I have been truly Blessed and have won several more Editor's Choice Awards and Famous Poet of the Year
Awards and have been honored to be published in a book entitiled "Who's Who in International Poetry" for a poem I wrote for
my son entitled "Field's of Green" which you can find on my site here at Kat's Kreative Korner II. I was also blessed to have
been named as a 2007 Poetry Ambassador Associate, and in 2008 I just received my newest Editors Choice Award for "I Remember
You" ...
In 2002 I earned my Associates Degree in
Applied Science in the field of Information Technology from Youngstown State University where I specialized in Multimedia

Through the years I have learned to grow
and share with others much wisdom I have learned along the way . I try to instill it through the things I write. I have had
many changes, some good, some bad but I have always lived with the motto that God only gives you as much as you can endure,
well folks I have endured much and know that what don't kill us only makes us stronger and wiser.
