I have a German Shepherd
Who's white with yellow shade
He's really quite intellegent
He loves to run and play
He follows me around the house
To each room that I go
When the doors are shut
He still comes in
He opens them with his nose
When I let him out to play
And he's ready to come in
He rings the doorbell with his paws
He is a loyal friend
Each day as I dress, readyto go out
His favorite thing to do
Is open the bathtub spicket with his mouth
He takes a drink of water
From the spicket as it flows
Then finds himself a dixie cup
From beneath the cupboard he knows
He chews it up upon the floor
Then finds another one
Munch the German Shepherd
Always finds ways to have some fun
When I'm sitting in my easy chair
About to watch TV
Munch brings me toys to play with
He knows to sit and stay
One day I made a lunch
And placed it upon my desk
You can probably guess just what he did
That day was not the best
He ate the lunch upon my desk
But left a noodle few
He drank the Coke within my cup
Then fell asleep upon the floor
Upon the plush white carpeting
That lay just in front of the door
This poem was written for my sister and her dog Munch.
