I have a furry friend
I've raised him from his birth
He's a loyal friend and companion

He's really quite a cutie
And oh so very smart
He follows me wherever I go
Even in the dark
I call him my little shadow
Even though he has a name
He likes to run around the house
He likes to play tug games
Me and my shadow
We are inseperable
He makes my life complete
