Ingredients
1 whole roasting chicken
1 can Brown Honey Lauger
1 bottle Open Pit Honey Barbeque sauce
Garlic Salt, Seasoned Meat Tenderizer mix for a rub
Top with with Beer Can Seasoning made by Weber
Instructions
1. Clean chicken well remove gizzards and neck from inside and wash well.
2. Pat dry and spinkle Garlic Salt and Tenderizer mix onto chiken like a rub then spinkle Beer
can seasoning onto the chicken generously for flavoring.
3. Pour half can lauger into a glass to enjoy while waiting...
4. Pour half bottle of Barbeque sauce into beer can and swish together
5. Sit chicken on top of beer can by hole where guts were removed and place into or on
a baking pan you can put onto the grill.
6. Place chicken onto a lighted grill medium flame and cook for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
The juices from the can will cook it from the inside out.
7. After the 1 1/2 hours, pull the chicken off the beer can and lay down in pan.
8. Pour the juices from the beer can over the chicken and continue cooking for about another
hour flipping the chicken over and back several times so top and bottom both cook well.
9. Check with fork for white meat, no pink should be found when done.
10. Remove from grill and place into another pan and pour juices over the chicken, cut and
enjoy.
This recipe when made right is very juicy and delicious with that touch of grilled flavor we
all love.....
