I once knew a lady
Who could make her words dance
Upon the pages of a book
Like a novel romance

The wisdom she had
She would share in a way
That brightened the spirits
Through words that she'd say

Her visions of life
Unlike any other I'd see
As she would open her heart
Let her soul be free

I once knew a lady
Who had the world at her feet
With each thought she would share
With each person she'd greet

She went away, her words were no more
She locked them away behind a closed door
I only hope that some day she would share them again
For it was that young lady who was once a dear fan
