Ingredients
3 Boxes any type Jello
3 TBSP Tapioca pudding mix
1 egg
1 C. milk
1 8oz container whipped cream
1 sm can/ jar fruit to compliment dessert. (Cherries, manderine oranges, or 1 C. fresh strawberries cut in quarters.
Preparation
In a bowl add jello packs but hold back 1/2 C for pudding mix.
Make as directed with boiling water only add 2 cups cold water and 8 ice cubes to help in setting the jello quicker after
mixing jello set aside.
In a medium sauce pan combine, tapioca pudding mix, 1/2 C jello (the jello will take the place of the sugar), 1 egg, 1
C milk, cook on medium heat stirring constantly until pudding starts taking on a thick consistancy like cooked pudding. Pour
over jello once ice is melted, you can add fruit here if you like or leave plain.
Pour into a 8 x 10 glass or ceramic cooking dish. Fold in 8 oz whipped cream. The pudding and jello will begin seperating
but that's where the 2 layers come in. Let set for about 3-4 hours to allow the jello and pudding top to set. You can top
with whipped cream or leave just the two layers. Garnish with fruit for a fancier look and taste. It's really an interesting
dessert and one of my own kreations.
