I just couldn't seem to get those visions out of my head, they haunt my dreams both day and night. Just what was the
old indian chief was trying to tell me, he frightened me, made me shiver from head to toe each and every time he would appear.
Was he trying to warn me about dangers about to come my way or was he part of the nightmares that I so dreadfully wish
away. Did it have to do with the old house on Landsdowne or was it something else, only God would know. Each night
before I would lay my head down I would pray, "Now I lay thee down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should
die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take."
