I could hear the howling of the coyote from a distance as I walked around what was thought to be a backyard filled with large pinoak trees and tall grass. I was exhausted so I sat down under one of the large trees and drifted off to sleep. The day turned to night and the night back to day, when I opened my eyes once again I found myself laying in my bed, was Landsdowne 109 all just a dream or did it really exist. I looked out the window to see a young button buck standing there starring in at me. I went to go grab my camera thinking how strange it was to see such a beautiful animal starring in my window, I quickly took the picture and the young deer went frolicking off into the woods that surrounded my home. It was at that moment reality hit me, my dreams were trying to tell me something about my past.
All those that I encountered within Landsdowne 109 were my family from years past and the old Indian in the room upstairs was once a part of an Souix Indian tribe that once fought a great battle on the very grounds were my house lay. My house was built over an ancient burial ground and it was through dreams that I realized just what Landsdowne 109 was all about.
