Looking up into the heavens
I made a wish upon a star
Hoping that someday you wouldn't be far
Hoping that someday our eyes would soon meet
Hoping that someday we always could be
Then suddenly it happened one cold wintry day
Our eyes became one, I only wanted you to stay
Your heart was of gold, your soul so pure
All the things I wished for
I need not wish for anymore
You came into my life and made me whole
You took away my sorrow, you saved my soul
I'll love you forever for what you've done
Together forever may our hearts beat as one
