Shrimp and Pasta
1 lb string pasta cooked
1 12oz bag cooked shrimp
1/2 bag pepper and onion stir fry veggies
1 sm can mushroom pieces or
1 fresh portabella mushroom cut into sm pieces
2 TBSP olive oil
1 8 oz can diced tomatoes
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp garlic pepper
Heat wok or deep skillet with 2 TBSP olive oil
add 2 tsp minced garlic and shrimp (detailed)
sautee over medium heat for 10 min
add pepper and onion stir fry (1/2 bag)
Add garlic pepper and sautee for about 5 min
while these are simmering prepare string pasta by instructions add about
2 tbsp olive oil to water to prevent sticking.
To shrimp mixture add mushrooms and diced tomatoes and let simmer until
pasta is done.
set a nice romatic candle light table for two
add a garden salad for starters with your favorite dressing.
Strain pasta and rinse with warm water to rinse off olive oil and place
in a bowl or on plates.
Top with the shrimp and enjoy.
If you do not like shrimp you can substitute it for chicken cut up into
sm pieces but however you you choose to try it, I guarantee it will truly bring out the desires within.
Add a chilled glass of Boones Trail Wild Cherry Wine to enhance your evening.
For dessert I enjoy a nice 3 layer chocolate and cheese cake dessert. This
is my own special recipe and is very rich but stimulating to the taste buds if you love Dirt Cake, you'll really like this
one.
Kat's Kreamy Cheesecake Dreamy
Crust
2 packs graham cracker (crumbs)
1 C Rolled Quick Oats
1/2 C Milk
1 C Melted Butter
2 tsp Sugar
crush graham crackers in either a food blender or a regular blender add
rolled oats, milk, sugar and butter and press into the bottom of a 9 x13 cake pan and bake for 15 min while
preparing cheescake filling.
Cheescake Filling
1 pkg No bake Cheese Cake Mix
1 8oz pkg Cream Cheese
1 C Powdered Sugar
2 C Milk
mix softened cream cheese, cheese cake mix and milk in a bowl til it thickens.
Add 1 C powdered sugar and mix thoroughly. Spread over crust and bake for about 15 more min while you prepare the pudding
layer.
Chocolate Pudding Filling
2 sm boxes Chocolate Pudding Mix
1/2 8oz Whipped Cream
Combine pudding and milk to directions and slowly fold in 1/2 of whipped
topping. Remove cheese cake from oven and spread chocolate layer over cheese cake layer and refrigerate immediately for about
2 hrs.
Topping
1/2 8oz Whipped Cream
Add the last of the whipped topping after the two hours over top and serve.
This is a very rich dessert but totally heavenly.
