Growing up our family always believed in saving the lives of animals. We had several dogs in the boys' growing
years. When Zack would get in trouble we always knew right where to look for him he would be hiding in the dog house...
The first dog Zack had was Droopy. Droopy was brought to us as a stray by one of our neighbors. He was a very mean little
beagle but Zack always had a way with animals. He didn't stay long with the family and the kids were heartbroken so we adopted
another beagle from the boys aunt that they named Ghost. Ghost and Zackery had many great times playing in the back yard until
one day Ghost got hit by a car, it was devistating for the family.
We went to the animal shelter and adopted a sheltie/shepherd, we named her Cupid. Her brother was so lonely and she cried
constatntly till we went back for the little boy that we named Comet. The boys were in their glory once again. Being we owned
so much property we went to the dog pound and adopted yet another dog, a Blue Tick Coon Dog we named Cammie. The
kids adored the dogs, Zack often would crawl in Comet's house with him to hide, a very strange and unusual child but those
days will be forever cherished.
